1. On Monday, the senior boy's basketball team will be playing Paris for GOLD! Come out and support our lions at 7pm. Let’s pack OUR HOUSE and cheer them on to victory. The gate fee is $3 for students and $5 for adults. CASH ONLY! GO LIONS GO!
2. Hey ACS Book Clubbers! Since our in‑person meeting was cancelled yesterday due to weather, please take a few minutes to check TEAMS for important updates, details, and videos from the White Pine authors. If you have any questions or need any forms, stop by the library today and see Mrs. Santos.
3. A huge thank‑you to the 25+ creative superstars who submitted entries to the OECTA Young Writers Contest. Your imagination and originality lit up every page! Although only five entries can move forward, we’re excited to announce the talented writers advancing to the local unit level and hopefully the provincial stage!: Nak‑sha‑thra Mathan Core for their fantastical junior short story, San‑am Gottawalla for their moving junior poem, Brooke‑Lynn Care-a-Wanna for their emotional senior non‑fiction piece, Erie Olla-bissi for their captivating senior short story, and Olivia Dulovick for their expressive senior poem. Let’s cheer them on as their writing journey continues!
4. The first cuts of Badminton have been made; the list is posted outside the male physed office. The FINAL senior badminton tryout will be on Monday morning @ 7:10am. This is the final tryout and the team will be posted later that day. Regular season games will start next week!
5. Junior and Senior Badminton players will have a practice Next Tuesday morning starting at 7:10am.
6. The Iceland geography trip information meeting that was scheduled for yesterday has been postponed. Please watch the morning announcements for the new date.
7. Attention all grade 11 and 12 Phys Ed students who are going curling today. Please arrive ready to go at the beginning of period 2. Don’t forget your clean shoes.
8. Today's special in the servery will be Tex Mex Loaded Fries or Nachos topped with Tex Mex beef, cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream and green onions $8.25. Nacho and cheese for $4.99.
