Earth day started in 1970 and now involves over 1 billion people who are participating in various activities to care for our Earth!   Thank you to all of the teachers who will be participating in the community clean up. Students, please get your permission slips into your teachers ASAP.   This week we will also share a few important facts about our Earth and why we need to take care of it: Did  you know that a single tree can supply a day's worth of oxygen for up to four people, and over the year, an acre of mature trees can absorb as much CO2 as a car produces driving 26,000 miles. Please remember to care for our Earth!
