3. Are you going to prom? Does your outfit need something special? Beautiful jewelry is available in room 1013. There are rings, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Jewelry can be borrowed for prom, or if you decide to keep it, you can make a small donation to Pennies From Heaven. Come to 1013 anytime today or Friday. Don’t miss out.
4. Attention Lions! The LAC is excited to present our brand new event: the Book Oscars! This is your chance to vote for your favourite books and characters in fun categories like Best Male Character, Best Mystery Book, Best Manga, and more! You can vote by ballots at the display desk in the library or by QR codes around the school. Voting will be open to the entire school, so don’t miss your chance to have your voice heard and help decide this year’s winners by May 27th.
5. Carpe Diem!! Anyone know what that means? It means seize the day!! The Grade 12 drama class is performing “Dead Poets Society” on the stage here at Assumption! They are performing this on May 28th at 6pm. Tickets are only $5 and the cast will be selling tickets at the back of the cafeteria starting TODAY, Thursday, May 21st until Wednesday, May 27th or they may be purchased on schoolcashonline from now until May 27th. *If you purchased through schoolcashonline, you may pick up your physical tickets at the back of the caf starting today! The class is very excited to make you laugh, and cry and question ‘why’? Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to make amazing memories while supporting the gr.12 drama class!
