1. Tomorrow is the LAST day to submit your course registration on myblueprint!!! If you want to return for grade 13, tomorrow is also the deadline to submit your application package in the main office. Don’t miss this important deadline!!!
2. On Thursday, the senior boys basketball team will be playing Paris for GOLD! Come out and support our lions at 7pm. Let’s pack OUR HOUSE and cheer them on to victory. The gate fee is $3 for students and $5 for adults.
3. Congratulations to the boys and girls curling teams. Both went undefeated in Friday’s bonspiel, and are seeded 2nd and 3rd going into tomorrows playoffs. Good luck to both teams.
4. Want a free 6-month YMCA gym membership and 40 community hours? If you are between the ages of 15 – 18, join the YMCA’s YES group on Tuesdays from 4-6. The program starts tonight and runs for 6 weeks. For more info or to register, scan the QR code on the bulletin board in TLC or visit the ACS Lions website.
5. Yoga club meets today after school! We will meet at 3:15 in room 1034. This is also the last chance to offer feedback on spirit wear so we can get it moving!
6. Lions, get ready for our Blind Date with a Book contest running all February! Come to the library, unwrap a mystery book, and use lines from the book to create your own found poem. Submit your poem for a chance to win one of two Amazon gift cards. Drop in, get creative, and let a surprise-read spark something new!
7. Hey Lions - It’s Tuesday! Don’t forget Vocal Ensemble rehearses in the lecture hall from 3-4pm TONIGHT! Tonight is the LAST chance for new members to join. See you there!
8. For students attending the Laurier SHSM trip on February 19, you are permitted to wear spirit wear on the trip or your uniform. It is not a dress down day. Please also remember to wear closed-toe shoes. The bus will leave promptly at 8:55am so please do not be late. You will be back by regular dismissal time.
9. Just a reminder, the ACS knit/crochet club will be restarting this Wednesday, February 18th from 3 to 4pm in room 1003. Materials will be provided, and new members are always welcome!
