1. Grade 12s who have paid for the grad retreat taking place on Tuesday, May 19that camp Marydale. Be sure to stop by Mrs. Sheldrake’s office to pick up permission form. You cannot get on the bus without handing in a signed permission form.
2. Attention Grade 12s: Today is the last day to purchase your Prom tickets. The final day to buy tickets is this Friday. Once your ticket is purchased, please email Ms. Mosher the names of the people you would like to sit with at your table. Each table seats up to 10 people. Even if your group has fewer than 10, please still send the names of everyone in your group. You can pick up your physical ticket at the back of the Caf on your lunch today – please bring your receipt. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Mosher, Mrs. S. Medeiros, or Mrs. Lou-Kay-Zee (Lucchesi). Also, if any student attending Prom is in need of a dress or suit, please visit room 1035 before or after school today to take a look at the formal wear available in various sizes.
3. Thank you everyone for all of your donations for the hygiene drive. The grade 12 Social Justice class is on the way out to your classes to pick up your donations. The winner will be announced later today! Thank you for supporting those who are less fortunate.
4. Congrats to our Senior, Junior and Bantam Boys Rugby teams for beating Holy Trinity and claiming second place in the standings. Semifinals are next Tuesday with a CWOSSA birth on the line. Let's go Lions!
5. Attention students! The Rainbow Ball is happening on May 14th! Get ready to dress up in your most glamorous semi‑formal attire and celebrate with students from all local public and Catholic high schools at this WICKED‑themed event. This year’s ball will take place at North Park, and transportation from ACS will be provided. Tickets are on sale now—see Ms. Nuhu in the staff room to purchase yours. Don’t miss out on this wickedly magical night!
6. Attention members of Intermediate Band...our merch is in! Please see Mr. G. in the music room today to pick up your shirt. Bonus points are awarded if you bring in your permission form for Canada’s Wonderland.
7. To all ACS book clubbers. This Monday, May 11 after school in the lecture hall will be our last book club meeting. It is our annual potluck and book exchange meeting. Please bring something nut free to share and a book you are willing to part with for the exchange. I look forward to seeing you all there!
8. Calling all singers, dancers and actors! Are you interested in being a part of a MUSICAL next year? If so, please come and meet Ms. Capostagno and Mr. DaCosta in room 2005 on Friday May 15th right after school. We are trying to gauge interest because this cannot happen without YOU!
