1. Tonight, the senior boy's basketball team will be playing Paris for GOLD! Come out and support our lions at 7pm. Let’s pack OUR HOUSE and cheer them on to victory. The gate fee is $3 for students and $5 for adults. CASH ONLY! GO LIONS GO!
2. With an undefeated season thus far, today our Jr girls Volleyball team take on one more challenge at the final championship match against BCI at St. Johns @4:00 p.m. If you would like to come out and cheer on our girls in the finals today there will be an admissions fee at the door. $5 for adults, $3 for students. Please bring cash!
3. Hey Lions! The first meeting of the Yearbook Club is now scheduled for Wednesday, February 25th. The club will meet every Wednesday after school in Room 2028 for one hour until the end of the school year. All former members and those who signed up during our Clubfest are welcome to attend! See you there!
4. Latino Club Alert! Tomorrow after school we’re having our Salsa Dancing Class! No experience needed — just bring energy and good vibes! Come move, have fun, and feel the rhythm. See you tomorrow!
5. Bonjour French Club! Our next meeting is happening this Thursday in Room 2005, and we’re turning it into a Carnaval celebration. Expect fun, colour, and festive vibes. Don’t miss it!
6. The Waterloo Math Contest is fast approaching! For students who have signed up, please check your email today for a message from Mr. Stec regarding details. The contest is this Wednesday at 9:00am in the library. There will be a contest prep session tomorrow after school in room 3011. Come by for some tips and learn with others!
7. If you are registered for the ACS England and France trip for March 2027, please check your school email and the trip D2L page for important updates about the trip. If you haven’t done so already, please see Mrs. McLaughlin on your lunch in room 2052 to pick up the mandatory permission form package. If you are not registered on the trip but are still interested in going, there are only three spots left! Grad a flyer on the door of room 2052 or scan the QR on the LEAP bulletin board for more information or to register.
8. Senior Badminton, a list of those who made the team will be posted by the end of the day in front of the male physed office. Both Junior and Senior badminton players have practices at 7:10am tomorrow morning.
9. Attention all students interested in playing Assumption Football for the 2026 season. There will be a mandatory meeting on February 27th at the beginning of all three lunch periods in the Lecture Hall. Please attend on your scheduled lunch break. Anyone planning to play Junior or Senior football in 2026 must attend. Thank you.
10. Today's special in the servery will be Penne pasta with Beef Meatballs topped with Tomato Basil sauce and a side of Garlic toast for $5.75. Pasta a sauce and garlic toast is $4.99.
