ANC / Apotex Trip

On Thursday October 3, 2024, ACS Computer Engineering SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) students visited ANC Modular and  Apotex Pharmachem Inc in Brantford.

ANC Modular makes modular units for the construction industry. For example, they would build individual hotel rooms in their factory and then assemble them on site in a couple of days. There is less waste, and units are built to a higher standard than traditional building techniques.

Apotex Pharmachem Inc makes generic drugs at their facilities, from Cardiac Medicine, Anti-Rejection Medicine (for Organ Transplants), and Antipsychotic Medications. We toured the facilities, Quality Assurance, and Research and Development areas of the company
