Technology SHSM Trip

Three SHSM groups, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing, and Transportation visited Tigercat, Conestoga, and Toyota on March 28, 2024

The first stop was at Tigercat in Paris ON, which is a Canadian Company which engineers, fabricates, manufactures and sells forestry equipment to the world. Student saw the final assembly and were able to actually drive the heavy equipment.

Students then visited Conestoga College Reuter Campus in Cambridge to see the Skilled Trades Programs from HVAC, Construction, Electrical, to Robotics.

At Toyota Motor Manufacturing Corporation (TMMC) South Plant which produces the Lexus RX 350 and the RX 350h and 500h, and RAV4. Students took a tour to see how a car is assembled from beginning to end.
