Attention Lions.  There are some changes to our school calendar for Spirit Wear Day and Casual Dress Day.  These changes have been made so we can give proper recognition to Orange Shirt Day occurring every Friday in the month of September.  These changes are:

Friday, September 17th – Orange Shirt Day
Wednesday, September 22nd – Spirit Wear Day (moved from the 17th)
Friday, September 24th – Orange Shirt Day and Casual Dress Day (moved from the 22nd)

Attention musicians who would like to be part of Concert Band…first band practice is Wednesday September 22 in the music room (room 1154) from 3-5.  See Mr. G. in the music room if you have any questions.

It's not too late!  You didn't miss the auditions!  Come on out to the dance auditions on Tuesday, Sept. 21st from 3:10-4:10 in the cafeteria.  Then sign up for a time for your acting and singing audition on Wednesday.  The "Addam's Family" is a musical comedy that you won't regret being a part of!  Email Mrs. Ratelband for more information.

If there are any students still interested in playing on the Jr. and Sr. tennis teams, please see Mr. Bednarz in room 2003 after school. There will be a tryout for all Jr. boys and girls Tuesday morning at 8:00am, please meet at the courts with your permission forms and ready to play! Senior tryouts will resume on Wednesday at 3:00pm. See you on the courts!

Thank you to all who tried out for the Jr. Boys volleyball team. The roster is now posted outside of the Male Phys. Ed office along with the compulsory Rowan’s Law Awareness form. Players, please bring your signed form with you to our next practice which takes place Monday at 7:15 a.m

Attention Lion Leaders, now is your opportunity to pick up you application to join our Student Council Team.  We are responsible for organizing many of our student led activities like Coffee House, Dances and our Semi-Formal, 12 days of Spirit, Spirit of Christmas and much more.  Applications can be picked up at the main office and returned to the main office before Friday, September 24th.

Attention all girls interested in learning how to play field hockey.  ACS is looking to start up a team this year. Come to the female phys. ed. hallway to sign up and grab a permission form.  The first tryout will be Monday at 3:00pm.  If you have any questions, please see Ms McDade or Ms. Lancaster. Come on out and try a new sport! No experience required.
