TODAY is the last day to register for Virtual School for Quads 3 and 4.  This is the last time that students can register for Virtual School for the second semester.  The link for Virtual School registration can be found on our school website under “Latest News”.

Great news Lions!  We are pleased to inform you that our ACS Spirit Wear can now be purchased until October 30th.  Please visit our Assumption College School website and look under the “Student Life” tab under the “Spirit Wear” section to see all available items and pricing.  Purchases can be made using School Cash.

CWAYC (QUAKE) IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE THANK A VET SPEECH WRITING COMPETITION.  WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO THANK AND HONOUR A CANADIAN VETERAN?  RESPONSES SHOULD BE APPROXIMATELY 500 WORDS IN LENGTH AND CAN BE HANDED IN TO THE BASKET IN THE MAIN OFFICE.  ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FRIDAY OCTOBER 29TH.  WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED DURING VETERANS' WEEK.  THERE WILL BE PRIZES FOR FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD PLACE.  IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, PLEASE SEE MRS. FLANAGAN IN ROOM 1013.

CWAYC (quake) is proud to announce that this year’s A-C-M-A or Assumption College Model United Nations Assembly will take place on Friday December 3rd in the Lecture Hall.  Do you have an interest in global issues? Are you passionate about history, geography or even drama? Do you follow current events?  The Model UN is the perfect event for you. During this full day debate, you will represent a nation of your choice and defend that country’s position on a world issue.  Sharpen your public speaking skills and learn to think on your feet while answering questions from other delegates.  Applications can be found on the brick wall at the back of the cafeteria or outside of room 1013. This is a first come first serve event as spots are limited. Your placement is guaranteed if applications are turned in by October 22nd. We hope to see you there! See Mrs. Flanagan in room 1013 or grade 12 students Spencer Bradford and Molly Neal if you have any questions. 

ATTENTION Grade 11 and12 students- would you like to 'MAJOR" in any of the following areas while in high school: Social Justice, The Environment, Healthcare, The Arts, Sports, Communication and Information Technology, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Business?  Then the Specialist High Skills Major "SHSM" program is for you!  Please get an application form from your grade 11 or 12 "majors" course teacher OR in Student Services today. Applications are due this month. 

COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS can be submitted to student services once you have recorded the minimum number of hours and have it signed by a parent/guardian. Remember, you don't need signatures of supervisors, just their name and contact information so we can confirm the hours.
