Yearbook club will be meeting today in the innovation Lab in the library at 3 pm. Club fair participants and all interested are invited to join us in being part of ACS yearbook.

Pop by the library today to borrow one of the many books on display. This month the library is featuring books recommended by staff along with Remembrance Day titles. To borrow a book from the library, all we need is your name. Hope to see you soon

Attention all quad 2, grade 12 health care students. Pick up a consent form for your course from Mrs. Farrell in room 2029 or the guidance office. Return completed forms to Mrs. Farrell before Nov 8.

A reminder for the successful candidates for The Addam's Family stage crew to meet on Monday, Nov. 1st on the stage.  You are required from 3-5 pm.  Email Mrs. Ratelband if you cannot attend.

Have you noticed the donation box outside the library? ACS is asking you to donate your spare books, to help raise literacy rates in our community. Researchers have estimated that even a 1% increase in literacy rates could benefit Canada’s economy by $54 billion every year. So, Lions, let’s help share the joys of reading in our community!

Learn about studying in Poland, in English, with entry straight from high school!! plus realistic entry requirements and summer placements back here at home.  An online information event will be held the evening of November 4 through Eventbrite.  Please contact your Guidance Counsellor to get the link to register for this online event.

BIG NEWS LIONS! After a year and a half of event cancellations, Coffee House is back! Need an excuse to hang out with friends, eat snacks, and enjoy some great live entertainment? Coffee House is the place to be! Come on out Wednesday November 17th and see all the talent our school has to offer. Open to students and staff of the ACS community.  Would you like to showcase your talent at this year’s coffee house? Auditions will be taking place Thursday November 4, from three to four o’clock after school in the library. Yes, that’s THIS COMING THURSDAY! Sign-up sheets will be posted outside of the library in order to sign up for a time slot. Auditions are to be 5 minutes max, so come prepared with your tracks, instruments, voices, and A-game! Come show off your talents and have tons of fun in the process! Hope to see you all there Lions.

Have you always wanted to start up your own business?  The JA Company Program is offering an exciting, hands-on experience where you get to build a business with a group of students from various high schools throughout southwestern Ontario- ONLINE! Along with a team of volunteer business advisors, you will design, organize, and operate a real company. Sessions take place weekly from mid-November until early April, Monday Tuesday or Wednesdays 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
