The Twelve Days of Christmas continues TODAY (Dec. 9th) with Christmas in July/Santa's Day.  Students can replace their uniform tops with a Hawaiian shirt and/or Christmas accessories.  Uniform bottoms are required. Tomorrow (Dec. 10th) is Flannel Day.  Trade in your uniform top for a warm, cozy flannel shirt.  Uniform bottoms required.

Monday Dec. 13th will be a Causal Dress Day to support the Hickey Family who had a wheelchair stolen from their home.  Students are to bring in two dollars to dress casually.  Thank you for supporting this initiative.

Monday will be our first "Assumption only" STEM session. We have Blaire Flynn and Jenna Saffin from Canada's own SNOLAB - a world renown neutrino research station located deep underground in the Sudbury area. They will be appearing virtually during both lunches (11:30-12:30 & 12:45-1:45) in the Lecture Hall. STEM students are encouraged to sign up outside of room 3005 to participate in this event. Most students will only be missing a small portion of class time around their lunch hour. Don't miss out on this opportunity.

Attention all Curlers. There is a practice for both the girls and boys teams scheduled for Tuesday, Dec 14th after school. Please see Mr. Page or Mr. O'Brien for more information.

Hello Lions!  As part of the Recreation Leadership 12 Days of Kindness Initiative our class is collecting blankets, mitts, hats and coats. Items can be brought to Ms. Lancaster in the Girls PE office, or dropped in the collection bin in the main office. Please take a moment to ask friends and family if they have any donations.  Check your closets and see if there might be something you can donate. Donations will be accepted until Tuesday Dec 14.  Thank you Lions.

Need to blow off a little steam? Looking to have some fun at lunch? Come out Dec. 14th to 16th to Games Week in the Library! Tuesday will feature fun board games, Wednesday will include a Goose Chase Scavenger Hunt, and Thursday will be a chance to test your trivia skills. If you come out and play you will automatically be entered to win a $25 Amazon gift card and if you win any of the games, you will receive an additional entry. Please sign up outside the Library doors.

It's back! The Exchange school newspaper is planning an edition for January and we want your submissions. Any original student or teacher works are welcome with a maximum of 800 words. A digital version will be created as well so images and recordings are acceptable also. The deadline for submissions is Dec. 24th. Please speak to one of the newspaper editors for details: Tahiyah Syeda, Areebah Khan, Blossom Dhillon, or Mrs. Engell in the Library. Works can be submitted to the Library D2L page. Once again, the deadline for submissions is Dec. 24th.
