The following Bus Routes will be leaving at noon on the Exam Days: B-774, B-730, B-725, and B-733.

Don't forget Lions that this Friday is Orange Shirt Day.  Students can replace their uniform top with an orange shirt to show our ongoing support to Truth and Reconciliation.

The Black Heritage Month committee will be meeting in the Chapel at Senior Lunch.

Second Semester student timetables will be emailed to student email accounts this week.

Hey LIONS today it's SHOW TIME!  If you're interested in seeing the gr. 11 Murder Mystery, there are only a handful of seats available! Email Mrs. Ratelband for the link to the forms or find the QR code posted around the school. Mystery, mayhem, and mishaps occur on the stage the night Chase Masterson meets his demise - with an audience full of detectives we'll be sure to solve the case along with Deputy Mills and their sidekick, Junior.  The main doors open at 5:30p.m. and the show starts at 6p.m.  Be sure to check your email to see if there was an error in your sign-up or to make sure you're in!

Great news Assumption... the Waterloo Math contest is back!  If you are interested in signing up and are a member of STEM, you will get an email this week.  Anyone else interested go to TLC to see Mrs. Bednarz in the morning to sign up. There is no fee this year.  This is great chance to challenge yourself and be eligible for scholarships.

Do you love writing? If you want recognition for your work, enter any writing piece - a short story, poem, play, or non-fiction piece -  into the OECTA writing contest. It's open to all grades, but the entry must be under 3,000 words. The deadline to submit is February 4! You might be one of the next young authors of Ontario. Please see Mrs. Engell in the Library for more details or for an entry form.

Look in the mirror. Do you see the 2022 Valedictorian looking back at you? I hope so.  Just a reminder that the completed Valedictorian application and essay are due to the Main Office, to the attention of Mr. Cacilhas, no later than the end of the school day on Feb. 11th and you must email Mrs. Fergus your essay by that due date as well.  All pertinent information can be found in the Graduation Package you received when you registered online, during the TEAMS information Meeting.

Mrs. Santos and Mrs. Engell are excited to welcome you back into the library. We've created 3 new book displays and would love for you to borrow any of these selected titles - we even have brand new books. And if you borrowed a book before the holidays, please be sure to return it as soon as possible for the next person to read. Hope to see you in the library soon.

ATTENTION grade 12 students: You are reminded that the deadline to submit your community service hours is February 8th.  Please fill in your form and hand it into Student Services BEFORE the deadline so that you can be eligible to graduate.
