Students are reminded that it's REGISTRATION TIME so please go into MyBlueprint and choose your courses for next year. Once you've chosen your courses, click "Review Course Selections", then "Submit Course Selections" then print a copy to submit to your homeroom teacher TODAY along with your School Cash Online receipt for your Activity Fee.
Great news Lions! The cafeteria food services will reopen on Monday, February 28th. Please make sure you stop by the caf to check out the great selection of food to be purchased.
Today there is a meeting for the 180 Team. It is taking place on both lunches in the chapel. Just come to the chapel on your scheduled lunch time and bring your lunch with you. This will be their first meeting with grade 9s and grade 11s together. It's going to be awesome for the grade 9s to be able to have some great mentors and friends in the grade 11 leaders from now on at these meetings. All grade 9 students are welcome to be a part of it.
Mr. Cacilhas and Mrs. Fergus are thrilled to announce that the candidates for Valedictorian 2022 are declared, and their entrance essays are posted on the wall at the back of the cafe. Please take some time to read their essays to aid you in your decision. Voting will take place on Wednesday March 2nd. More info to come on that process.
Anyone interested in trying out for the Badminton Team is to sign up outside the Male Phys-Ed office. The first try out is on March 1st.
Picture Retake Day and Semester 2 photos for any new students to ACS will occur on Friday, February 25th in the Library.
Attention Students of Assumption College ...There is a mystery requiring your expertize. STEM has placed several puzzles around the school to be solved. They provide you with the answers to the questions of Who, What, Where, When and Why to our next guest presenter. Solve the mystery and be eligible for a draw prize: Assorted Gift Cards for Cineplex or Starbucks!!! You have until the end of the day Thursday to submit your answers. Your first puzzle starts outside the main office. Good luck!!!
Graduating students are reminded to continue checking their Grade 12 Information page in D2L for upcoming Scholarship and Bursary opportunities in the Content Section in the Scholarship and Bursary Information Chart. The next month includes the Western Indigenous Student Award and National Scholarship, the Carnegie Future Aces award for volunteerism and the RBC Indigenous students award. Keep checking for new scholarships regularly- new ones arrive every week.
