Don't forget Lions that our next Sprit Wear Day is on Thursday, April 28th.

If you haven't heard, it's opening night for "The Addams Family" tonight!  If you haven't gotten your tickets it's NOT too late.  You can get them online at assumptionlions.com or at the door.  Tickets are $15 for students and seniors and $20 for adults.  It's gonna be a scream!  

There will be an ACE committee meeting today at second lunch in the Lecture Hall. New members are welcome. 

There is a meeting for the 180 Team today on both lunches in the chapel. New students are always welcome. Come at the beginning of your scheduled lunch time and bring your lunch with you.

Tennis practice will be afterschool today for all junior and senior tennis players.  See you then.

STEM Road Trip is a go for May 20th! Permission Forms can be picked up in room 3005.

Popsicle Stick Bridges are being tested TODAY after school. in Room 1136, tech hallway. 

Attention all track athletes. If you signed up for an event for the school meet you must attend a mandatory meeting TODAY at the beginning of your lunch in the gym. We are also having track practice tonight after school, it is important that you make every effort to attend! If you have any questions speak to a Phys-Ed teacher.

Attention members of the Boys' Baseball team. We will be practicing after school TODAY at Lions' Park from 3:15pm until 5:30 pm. This will be our last practice before the season starts next week. Players are reminded that they need to pay their activity and uniform fees prior to the start of the season to be eligible to play.

Attention all girls interested in trying out for the fastpitch team. There will be a very brief meeting Friday at the beginning of your lunch in the small gym. The tryouts will be Tuesday and Wednesday at 3:30 at Lions Park.

There will be a brief, 10-minute meeting for any students interested in trying out for Junior or Senior Girls volleyball next year. We will meet at the beginning of both lunches in the lecture hall on Thursday, May 5th.  If you aren’t able to attend the meeting in the lecture hall on May 5th, please email Mr. Bender to let him know.

Attention all athletes and coaches, you don't want to miss this!! The Annual ACS Athletic Banquet is back! This is a special night where we honour our athletes, MVP's and Athletes of the Year. It takes place on Wednesday June 8th in our cafeteria. Dinner is provided and catered by Mercasa and there are many door prizes to be won! Doors open at 6pm. Tickets are available for $20 in the female phys. ed. office. Get your ticket before they sell out!!!!

The PUSHING FORWARD- TUTORING PROGRAM has begun! The program is free tutoring for students from our very own ACS teachers! The program will run from Monday - Thursday 3:05 pm - 4:05 pm. Drop by student services for more information!

Grade 12 students!  Sign up for your grad retreat taking place on May 31st at Camp Marydale. Buses leave Assumption College at 9am and return by 3pm. Enjoy a day of outdoor group activities and a barbeque lunch. The cost is only $25. For more information see the poster on the bulletin board at the back of the caf  or on the door of the chaplain's office. You MUST register at the chaplain's office and pick up your permission form. 

Attention all females ages 14-18!  Are you interested in a career in the fire service including firefighting, dispatch, and fire prevention? CAMP PHOENIX is providing a unique opportunity for females ages 14-18 years old to experience what is it is like to be a firefighter.  You will experience hands on training in fire suppression, search and rescue, auto extrication, first aid and more! This camp is NO charge and takes place at Cainsville Station on 27 Ewart Ave on MAY 5th at 6-8pm.  Please look for flyers around the school for additional information.

Attention grade 12 students:  female students are encouraged to apply for the the "Canadian Federation of University Women's" for students over with over 85% average- the application is due April 29th and to be emailed to the coordinator-  email address is found on your D2L gr 12 info page. 
Also, the NEW Soroptimist Grand Erie Graduating Girls Award and the CYO Girls Basketball Scholarship, both due April 30th.  Information is found on your D2L Scholarship Chart.
Likewise, due April 29th are the Brantford Regional Real Estate Association's scholarship application and the Brant Men of Song for students going into music programs-  both to be submitted to the email provided on your D2L Gr 12 Info page Scholarship Chart.

Students with Financial need are reminded that applications for the Stedman bursary are due to Student Services by the end of the school day April 29th or online April 30th. Only students who have and had their guidance counsellor complete their part already will be accepted at this point.
