Hey Lions!  This week is Spirit Week.  We have the following themed days planned:

Monday – Sunglasses and Hat with full uniform
Tuesday – Floral / Hawaiian Shirt Day with uniform bottoms
Wednesday – Jersey Day with uniform bottoms
Thursday – Pastel and fluorescent top day with uniform bottoms
Friday – Full Spirit Wear Day

Attention members of the girls fast pitch team.  The next practice is Tuesday at 3:15 at Lions Park.  If you cannot attend you must speak to Ms. McDade today.

Grade 12 & 5th year Specialist High Skills Major SHSM students in Manufacturing, Sport, Hospitality & Tourism, and all of the Arts should be in the small gym NOW for their mandatory First Aid & CPR session. 

Attention members of the boys' baseball team. Players are reminded that they need to be at Matt Krol Field in Ancaster at 385 Jerseyville Rd West by 8 am on Tuesday for our first game in the Ancaster mini tournament. The schedule for the rest of the week with the addresses for the diamonds in Ancaster on Tuesday and Burlington on Friday is posted on the team page in Brightspace. Any player that needs a ride to the park should contact Mr. Annear to make transportation arrangements. Players should bring both the blue school jersey and the grey t shirt and ball cap to the tournaments in Ancaster and in Burlington. 

Coffee House is back Lions! Need an excuse to hang out with friends, eat snacks, and enjoy some great live entertainment? Coffee House is the place to be! Come on out this Thursday and see all the talent our school has to offer. Doors open at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased in the cafeteria at both lunches this week for $8, or for $10 at the door. Seating is limited so make sure to get your tickets early! Performers, there is a very brief but important meeting TODAY in room 2063 right after school. If you are not able to attend please email Ms Ristov ASAP!

Hello Lions! As many of you know, migrant workers have arrived to help out on our local farms. A couple of students decided that they wanted to put together some welcome bags to gift to a small farm in our area. Tuesday and Friday in the caf, we will be selling handmade buttons! Come out and support a great cause!

Attention Lions! BREAKING NEWS! Listen ACS will now be offering one section of Grade 10 Canadian Indigenous Art and Culture for this September. If you are interested sign up to see Ms. Christie in the guidance office.

The Exchange newspaper is back for another issue in June! For the theme of change, we're looking for student initiatives, business, and extracurricular work that can be featured in a Student Showcase section. Submit a picture with a few sentences on the library D2L page under the discussion post for June. Your work matters! Please contact the editors Areebah Khan, Tahiyah Syeda, and Blossom Dhillon for more information.

Hello Gr 12 Students!  Prom tickets are on sale until the 19th of May.   There is a limited number of tickets available.  Prom will be held on Saturday, June 4th at Hamilton's Marquis Gardens. You can pay for your $60 ticket either with cash or ahead of time with School Cash Online.  In order to use the online payment option, please bring your receipt to our ticket selling table in the caf during second lunch to pick up your physical ticket.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Braga or Ms. Martello.  

Attention all athletes and coaches, you don't want to miss this!! The Annual ACS Athletic Banquet is back! This is a special night where we honour our athletes, MVP's and Athletes of the Year. It takes place on Wednesday June 8th in our cafeteria. Dinner is provided and catered by Mercasa and there are many door prizes to be won! Doors open at 6pm. Tickets are available for $20 in the female phys. ed. office. Get your ticket before they sell out!
