All members who are participating in We Scare Hunger, please have one person from your group grab a team form from the FishBowl in the library Wednesday, October 5th during both lunches. This form is to be signed and filled out with the driver's information and then returned to Student Services ASAP.
This is a reminder that there will be tennis practices for all senior players TODAY after school at 3:00pm. Junior practices will resume on Wednesday and Thursday. See you on the court.
Any STEM student who is not receiving emails needs to drop by Room 3005 to see Mr. Page to clarify the situation. Also, there is a STEM ROAD TRIP to McMaster scheduled for Friday October 14th. Only 44 spots available. Don't miss out!
Attention students who expressed interest in the French Club Committee! Please check your e-mail from Madame McCulloch regarding the lunch meeting this Wednesday, October 5. First lunch meeting is in Room 2005, 2nd lunch meeting just outside of Workroom 2010, at the beginning of both lunches. Merci beaucoup!
Attention retreat leaders for the grade 9 retreats. Check your school email for an important message from the chaplain. Congratulations to all 62 students who have attended retreat leader training and are excited and ready to welcome grade 9 religion classes to their retreats and to our school.
Hey Lions! Don't forget the Homecoming dance is this Thursday October 6th from 6pm-9pm. Tickets for ACS students are being sold on school cash online for $7 each and will remain available for purchase until 3pm on the day of the dance. Ticket price will be raised to $12 at the door so get yours early! Looking forward to a great night so hope to see you there!
Attention all Lions! Did you move to Canada recently or in the past one to ten years? Or, are you interested in becoming a mentor for newcomer youth in Brantford? On Wednesday, the YMCA School Settlement Workers will be at ACS during both lunches to share information about free programs for youth ages 12 to 24 including Youth Fusion, Youth Peer Mentorship and Homework Help. Come and learn how you can connect with other youth, earn volunteer hours and celebrate the rich cultural diversity of the city of Brantford. Meet at the back of TLC at the beginning of either 1st or 2nd lunch. See you there!!
The Library Advisory Council will start on Thursday, October 6th in the Innovation Lab before school at 8:15am. If you can't make the first meetings but still want to join, let one of the librarians know and we will keep you in the loop on Teams.
