Attention Indigenous Students. During both lunches TODAY, there will be a drop-in session in the Reading Room in the Library. This gathering is to get input on next steps for Indigenous activities and promote well-being. Light lunch is offered.

Boys Varsity Baseball tryouts will begin on Tuesday, April 11th after school from 3:30 to 5pm. Please submit your signed permission form to Ms. Lytle in Portable 5 beforehand. Students will need to arrange their own rides to the baseball field. Location to be announced Tuesday.
Attention all Boys Lacrosse Players. There will be a mandatory meeting in the gymnasium Tuesday (April 11) after school. If you have not yet signed up or brought in your permission form, you need to see Mr. P in the male Phys. Ed office.

Attention all grade 11's and 12's! Do you like to run? Can you throw and catch a frisbee? If you answered yes to the above questions please sign up for our very first competitive co-ed ultimate frisbee team. But seriously you need to be able to run! Try Outs will be April 12th and 13th after school. Sign Up outside the female phys. ed office. If you have any questions see Ms. McDade or Ms. Ferraccioli.
Hey Lions! Are you a talented writer? Do you want to write for the student newspaper, The Exchange? If so, come out to the next Exchange meeting before school on Wednesday, April 12th at 8:15 AM. The meeting will be in the Library. See Mrs. Engell for more details.

Are you in Grade 9 or 10? Do you have an interest in Geography? Or have a good general knowledge about Canada and the World? And LOVE trivia? If so, QUAKE has an opportunity for you! We are looking to name Assumption’s “School Geography Champion” in the Canadian Geographic Geography Challenge! The 50 question Multiple Choice Challenge will be held on Thursday, April 13th during First Lunch. See Mrs. Walsh ASAP in Room 3010 during both lunches to sign up and be provided with further information.
Attention all SENIOR Visual Art students! There is a visual art trip to Toronto to visit the Disney Animation Immersive Experience happening on Thursday, April 27th. The trip is now open to all visual art SHSM and grade 11 and 12 art students. This is free for Visual Art SHSM student and only $22.60 for non-SHSM students. See Ms. Benoit in the art rooms to get a permission form today. There are limited tickets available, and the trip is first come, first served.
Attention Class of 2023! Each High School in Brant County is eligible to nominate 2 students for the James Hillier Scholarship. If you are a Student who has been accepted to a University or College program in Science and Technology and have achieved over 90% average on your top 6 University or Mixed level courses, including at least 2 sciences, have been a resident of Brantford or Brant County for your final 3 years of high school, are interested in scientific research, and would like to be interviewed and considered for the Hillier Scholarship, please sign up in Student Services. This is the first step of the nomination process. Sign-up by Tuesday April 11th.
