Reminder that boys’ varsity baseball tryouts take place today and tomorrow at Lion’s Park. Meet at the diamonds near Gilkison for 3:30pm. Same as yesterday: You need to arrange your own ride to and from tryouts. You definitely need a permission form if you do not already have one. See your school email for more details.

Attention all grade 11's and 12's!  Do you like to run?  Can you throw and catch a frisbee? If you answered yes to the above questions, please sign up for our very first competitive co-ed ultimate frisbee team.  Try Outs will be TODAY and TOMORROW after school. Sign Up outside the female phys. ed office. If you have any questions, see Ms. McDade or Ms. Ferraccioli.

Attention all Grade 9's and 10's signed up for Assumption's Geography Challenge!  This is your reminder that the Geography Challenge is taking place THIS Thursday April 13th, in Room 3024, at the beginning of FIRST LUNCH!  Anyone else interested can still sign up with Ms. Walsh in Room 3010!

There will be a mandatory Jack Chapter meeting on Friday at 3:05 in room 3021.  Please let Miss Dabrowski know if you cannot attend.  Thank you and have a mentally healthy day!

Attention all boys Lacrosse players….our first practice will be held on Monday April 17, after school at 3:15pm.  Arrive with all your gear.   Students who wish to play that cannot attend, must see Mr. Petrella in the male Phys Ed office before Friday of this week.

On April 17th there will be a Haudenosaunee Social in the cafe during 4th period.  Students must sign up for the Social in Ms. Skye's office before the end of Friday. If you are bringing an ACS classmate, they must be signed up also.  Reminder, 100% participation is required.

A reminder for students in financial need for College or University in the fall to consider applying for the Samuel W. Stedman Foundation Bursary - see web application on D2L. Applications are due April 30th.

Assumption DOES have talent!  The 5 judges have narrowed it down to the top 10.  They will be performing LIVE next Wednesday, April 19th, starting at 6pm. For only $5 you can witness an evening filled with top-notch performances. See you there!

Calling all grade 12 SHSM students.  Your mandatory First Aid and CPR training will take place Monday April 17th and Tuesday April 18th in the small gym.  A full list of participants and important information is on the window at student services and has also been emailed to you. Make sure to read this. If you feel you should be participating and have been missed please go to student services for help.  This training brings you closer to completing your SHSM designation. See you April 17th and 18th.

Any Graduates who missed photos, or would like a retake, we have a pop-up studio scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at St. Mark’s Church on Memorial Dr. in Brantford.  ACS Gowns and Stoles provided.  Appointments can be booked, and all information found here:

CWAYC IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT THIS YEAR'S MODEL UNITED NATIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY MAY 19TH.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN CURRENT EVENTS AND LOVE TO DEBATE, THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU.  MRS. FLANAGAN IS LOOKING FOR AN EXECUTIVE TEAM OF SENIOR STUDENTS TO HELP RUN THE EVENT.  THIS WILL INCLUDE VETTING THE APPLICATION FORMS, WRITING THE RESOLUTION TO BE DEBATED, ASSIGNING COUNTRIES, AS WELL AS PROMOTING AND RUNNING THE EVENT.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, APPLICATIONS FOR THE EXECUTIVE ARE OUTSIDE ROOM 1013.  APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL 3:00 ON FRIDAY APRIL 14TH.  AFTER THE EXECUTIVE TEAM IS PICKED, DELEGATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE THAT WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DAY.  EMAIL MRS. FLANAGAN OR COME TO ROOM 1013 IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS.
