Attention Grade 12 AP students writing AP exams. There will be a mandatory meeting for you TODAY at 9 am in the Lecture Hall. Look at your school email and the Grade 12 D2L page for more information. 

Attention all students - you are invited to join Assumption's "Environment Club"!  The first meeting will be held TODAY at the start of BOTH lunches, outside at the Outdoor Classroom, which is beside the Main Entrance of the school.  Anyone interested in anything environmental, from home, to school and beyond is welcome to join! 

Attention all grade 12s!  Want to have your say on this year's prom theme? Students will be able to cast their vote on the grade 12 D2L page for this year's prom theme until the end of the day TODAY. Results will be shared by Friday, April 28th!

Dear ACS Knitting Club.  Our next meeting will take place TODAY from 3pm to 4pm in Portable 17. See you there! New members welcome!  Thank you for all you do.

There will be a boys varsity baseball practice today and tomorrow at 3:30 pm at lions park.  Please let Mrs. Lytle or Ms. Robitaille know if you cannot attend.

The Latin Club for this week is in Room 1034 and NOT in Room 2006 during first lunch. 

All athletes that signed up for Track and Field! We are running all TRACK and FIELD events on April 27th at 3:00pm.  You MUST attend your events on this day to get your times and distances in order to qualify for the AABHN Meet.  There is a schedule posted in the gym.  Please Ms. Ferraccioli or Mr. Petrella if you have any questions.

Are you a triple threat?  Can you sing, act and/or dance?  If you answered 'yes' to even just ONE of these, then the school Musical is for YOU! Come on out to the LECTURE HALL on Friday, April 28th during YOUR LUNCH.  Even if you're not sure that you want to audition for next year's Musical, come see what it's all about and get your questions answered! 

ACS Music Dept is proud to announce the return of Tri-High: a concert featuring the bands of Holy Trinity, ACS and St. John's College.  Each band will perform individually, and the concert will conclude with all bands playing 3 pieces together in a 100 piece 'super-band'.  The event will be at St. John's College  this Thursday, April 27th at 6:30.  Admission is free.  All are welcome.

STEM students, please check your emails for a number of STEM opportunities available through the month of May!

A reminder to all participants in Assumption Cares.   Next week is bank week.  Please bring your $100 in pledges to the cafeteria on both lunches on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday next week.  If you still need a few more pledges, make sure you get out this weekend and fill that envelope!

Just a reminder to grade 12 students that the online payment for the Grad Retreat is open until May 8th so you have one more week to sign up for this great day of outdoor fun with friends. Be sure to pick up and hand in your registration and health form to Mrs. Sheldrake also by May 8th. It's important to be aware of any food allergies and restrictions such as vegetarian and vegan so the food order can be submitted to Camp Marydale on May 9th. The date of the Grad Retreat is May 23rd. 

Coffee House is back Lions! Need an excuse to hang out with friends, eat snacks, and enjoy some great musical entertainment? Coffee House is the place to be! Come on out next Thursday, May 4th at 6pm, and see all the talent our school has to offer. Tickets will be available to purchase for $8 on School Cash Online starting on Monday, or for $10 at the door. Seating is limited so make sure to get your tickets early!

Are you looking for volunteer opportunities in Brantford-Brant?  A Volunteer Fair is being held on Saturday, May 6th from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Community Centre on Morrell Street in Brantford.  Please see the poster in Student Services for more information.

Are you looking to knock your community service hours out of the ballpark?  The Brantford Red Sox are looking for home game volunteers.  See Guidance D2L page for details.

Do you enjoy spending time with your friends and singing your hearts out?! Come out the Jack Chapters Pre-Mental Health and Catholic Education week event: SPRING KARAOKE!  This awesome event will take place on Friday April 28th from 6-9 PM in the cafeteria. This will be an Assumption student only event. Tickets are $5 cash which include the event and 2 slices of pizza. Other snacks, drinks, and positive mental health goodies will be sold at a very low cost at the event! Many prizes are to be won! Tickets will be sold every day at both lunches at the back of the caf.  Come out to a super mentally healthy and fantastic night, Lions!
