This week is Spirit Week. Student Council has organized the following:
• Tuesday – Crocs/Sandals Day. Students may replace their uniform shoes with crocs/sandals.
• Wednesday – Paid Casual Dress Day. Students can bring in $2.00 to dress casually. All proceeds collected will go towards the ACS Spring Fling.
• Thursday – Crazy Hair Day
• Friday – Spirit Wear and Lip Dub video recording. Please see the posters around school for route information and team locations.
A reminder that the YMCA's Youth Transition Program will be here TODAY during 2nd lunch. Please meet in TLC.
We will be praying the rosary after school at 3:15pm TODAY. Hope to see you there!
Attention all Environment Club members - please check your student email for Environment Club updates. In addition, there will be an Environment Club meeting THIS WEDNESDAY May 24th, during 1st lunch, in Room 3024 with Ms. Walsh, for all current members AND any other students who want to join!
Attention all grade 12s attending prom! Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 24th, you will be able to check what table you are seated at for the big event. Please make sure to check at the back of the cafe on your lunch. If you need to make any changes, this is the ONLY day you will be able to do so!
The final STEM meeting of the year is this Thursday May 25th during both lunches. We have 9 former lions coming back to the den to share their stories about the STEM programs they are taking at university. Schools such as Queens, Trent, University of Toronto, Waterloo, Western, Guelph, MacMaster, Brock, and Toronto Metropolitan (formerly Ryerson) are all being represented. Come hear about their programs, their schools, the food, the residences, ask questions, network and get a feel for what post-secondary education is all about. Dismissal times are 11:15 and 12:35
Attention all grade 12 students who have taken or are currently enrolled in biology. If you are interested in attending a Genetics Lab Workshop at McMaster University, please see Ms. Borges. If you have already completed your permission form, please be sure to pay the $10 fee via school cash online.
All Assumption Cares participants are eligible for community service hours. Please stop by student services and see Mrs. MacDonald either before school, after school or at lunch to get your hours.
Do you want to go to New York City? Of course you do! Well, if you are a student in the ACS Art Department, see Ms. Benoit to get your 2024 ACS Arts New York trip information package today. There will also be an information meeting for students, parents and guardians on Thursday, May 25th at 7PM in the lecture hall. Come on out to learn more and maybe even win a door prize!
Do you like to get outside and walk or run? Then the Brantford Rotary Classic run is for you! Join the ACS team this year on Sunday, June 4th to help support the Lansdowne Children Centre and the Boys and Girls Club. If you are interested in being a part of this amazing event please see Mme.
