Postcards for Peace have arrived!  Participating classes are asked to complete and return these to the labelled baskets in the Main Office by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 8th.  Extra postcards are also available at the reception desk—first come, first serve!

The first try out for the Sr Girls Volleyball team will be TODAY at 3:00pm. Please bring your signed permission forms with you or you will not be able to try out. 

All potential D&D players must see Mr. Hare in Room 1035 at the start of your lunch.  Some sessions will be running this week. Dungeon Masters if you did not see Mr. Hare last week, please connect with him in Room 1035 at lunch as well. Any new members are welcome to join.

There are Book Cub meetings TODAY during both lunches in the Library's Innovation lab. Bring your lunch.

This is a reminder for all boys trying out for the Varsity Hockey Team. Tryouts are tonight and Wednesday, at 3:30pm at Lions Park. You must have a completed permission form to participate. These forms can be found outside of Room 2027. See you on the ice.

Attention Vocal Ensemble members. A reminder that vocal ensemble is cancelled this week and will resume next Tuesday, Nov. 14. Please check your emails for the vocal practice tracks.

There will be a Junior Boys Basketball tryout TOMORROW after school. Please check the announcements tomorrow morning for what time it will be at. 

Attention all girls trying out for the Girls Hockey team. The first tryout is TOMORROW at 3:30pm at Lions Park. Please bring your permission form to the tryout. 

Attention all grade 9 students who applied for Student Council. We thank you for your interest in joining our team! This year we received over 50 applications and it was VERY difficult to narrow it down. Successful applicants have been notified by their school email, and are invited to attend our meeting tomorrow morning at 8am in the Lecture Hall. For those wishing to re-apply, we look forward to your applications in the Spring.

This week STEM is celebrating the world of Engineering. We have TWO guest speakers visiting us. The first is Tuesday, Nov. 7th with engineer Tom O'Neil who will be discussing Automated Vehicles and Robotics. The second is Thursday, Nov. 9th with former Lion Cheryll Johns who is currently a mining engineering travelling all over North and South American for her job.  Dismissal times for both presentations are 11:20am and 12:40pm in order to allow our guests a full 45 minutes to share their stories. Please drop by Room 3005 to pick up a dismissal slip to attend both events.

The Board Game Club will be meeting Wednesday, November 8th in Room 3011 from 3pm to 4:30pm.  New members always welcome.

Invitations for the Academic Awards Ceremonies have been emailed to families.  Congratulations to all of our 2022-2023 recipients!  Due to the impressive number of award winners, we will be hosting two ceremonies this year on Wednesday, November 22nd and cannot wait to celebrate with each of you.  Please see the invitation for further details.

It's that time of year again...Holiday Gift Wrap sign up time!  Brant Food For Thought will once again be having their Holiday Gift Wrap booth at Lynden Park Mall from December 1st to December 24th and they are looking for student volunteers to fill their shifts.  Get into the Christmas/Holiday spirit while raising Student Nutrition Program dollars volunteering for the Holiday Gift Wrap booth.  Please see the Volunteer Board in Student Services for more information.
