Attention Sr. Boys Basketball players.  There will be a very important team meeting TODAY at the end of period 2 in the gym.  It is important that you see Mr. P if you cannot attend.

This is a reminder for all players on the Boys Varsity Hockey Team that we have practice this week on Monday and Wednesday at 3:30pm at Lions Park.  Please email one of the coaches if you are unable to attend. The final roster has also been posted in the boys Phys-Ed hall. See you on the ice.

There will be a Junior Boys Basketball practice TODAY at 3pm.

There will be a meeting on Thursday during both lunches in the Chapel for the 180 Team. New members are always welcome to join.

Are you looking for volunteer hours? If you are available on Thurs. Nov. 23rd and Fri. Nov. 24th from 4-8 pm, then please go to Student Services and see Ms. Coene to find out about an opportunity to fill bags for the food bank. This would be a great way to earn your hours!

Because of the Literacy test being written all this week in the library, the library will be closed periods 1, 2, and 3, unless otherwise posted. Please find another space to eat your lunch. This also means the cell phone charging locker will be unavailable all week, so please plan ahead.  Thank you for your cooperation, Lions!

We are just a few days away from celebrating our annual Academic Award Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 22nd.  The first ceremony will celebrate recipients with last names A to K and the second ceremony will celebrate recipients with last names L to Z.   To offer some quick reminders and to help answer any last-minute questions about the two ceremonies, some Q&A posters have been posted at the back of the Caf, outside the Main Office, and in the windows off the Student Entrance.   They address things like where to go, what to wear, parking, and what will happen if you cannot make it.  A chart depicting the Check-in and Award Pick-up locations are also posted in the same locations.  To all our award winners, we are looking forward to celebrating your academic achievements!

On Friday, November 24th, come to the Home Alone pajama movie night hosted by your LAC and social justice class. With just $5 you get to enjoy a scavenger hunt around the school with prizes for the winning team. Your $5 ticket will also cover pizza and a drink. Bring a friend or make a friend. Polaroids, candy bags, and popcorn will also be sold at this event so make sure you bring cash. All additional purchases are donated to Pennies from Heaven. Tickets will be sold at the back of the caf all this week. For more information, see Ms. Engell in the library.

Attention Graduates!  From Monday, December 4th to Tuesday, December 19th, Edge Imaging will be here taking graduation photos in the INNOVATION LAB!  Students are now able to book appointments online.  Please see the ACS school website for all the appointment booking details.

This year's Semi-Formal dance is fast approaching on Friday December 1st! The theme is Black and Red Gala. Ticket sales for this event will begin this Wednesday, November 22 on school cash online. If you are planning to bring a guest from another school, guest permission forms can be picked up in the main office TODAY! Please remember that guest forms must be completed in full before a ticket can be purchased. A reminder that only one guest per ACS student is allowed, and they must be enrolled in high school.
