Good morning Lions and welcome to Christmas Hat and Accessory Day! Hope you are wearing your accessories with pride. Monday will be Christmas Sock Day. Looking forward to seeing your festive feet.

The Jack Chapter will be meeting tonight after school in Room 1013 at 3:05pm.  Please note the room change. Remember to bring your Christmas gear as well as "completing your homework for the video"!  Thank you and have a mentally healthy day.

Junior Badminton continues next Tuesday at 7am. More permission forms are available by the male Phys Ed office and need to be signed for you to participate. 

Christmas Holidays are fast approaching, and Student Council has exciting plans for the last day before the break. Shortened classes in the morning, a turkey dinner lunch, and our Spirit of Christmas Assembly in the afternoon. There is plenty of fun to be had by all! The turkey dinner lunch costs only $5, but must be purchased in advance on school cash online. Vegetarian and Halal options are available. Sales will occur from Thursday, December 7th to Sunday, December 17th. Don't miss out on this delicious opportunity!"

This message is for students taking Gr. 12 French next semester:  Please see Madame McCulloch in Room 2005 if you are interested in taking the DELF exam in the Spring of 2024.  We would like to have some preliminary numbers so that we can prepare.  Merci beaucoup!

Attention 2024 Graduates!  If you want to participate in the graduation ceremony in June, you need to register for graduation on the Grade 12 D2L page.  The deadline for registration and grad fee payment is Friday, December 8th.   Register today!

December Leap Writing Contest.  We have entered the season of Advent.  A time for Christians to prepare for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.  It is a time of Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love.  Your writing challenge is to create a story (fiction or non-fiction) or poem that celebrates either Hope, Joy, Peace, or Love!  As the writer, you decide which of the four virtues you would like to celebrate in your writing.  Be creative, use your imagination and skills to uplift your readers with Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love!  Please limit your submission to 300 words or less (if you go over, no problem).  Please submit your writing pieces to Mrs. Bowen by Monday, December 18th!  Winners will be announced by Thursday, December 21st.  Looking forward to reading your submission, Leapster!
