Welcome to our Casual Dress Day to support our Pennies from Heaven Campaign.  Thank you for your 2 dollar donation to support families in our school community.  Don’t forget, tomorrow is Christmas Arts and Crafts during both lunches in the library.    

The Chess Club will be meeting after school TODAY in Room 2023. All are welcome to attend.

Badminton training continues this week. Junior's will be practicing on Friday at 7am and Seniors will be practicing Thursday at 7am. More forms are available for pickup by the male Phys Ed office.

Dear ACS Knitting Club.  Hope to see you TOMORROW after school from 3-4pm in Portable 17. If you are not able to make it after school, please attend during 3A lunch. Hope to see you there! Thank you for all you do! 

Attention Vocal Ensemble members! Vocal Ensemble will NOT be meeting again until the new year, in 2024. Enjoy your break!

Everyone is invited to the next 180 Team meeting this Thursday. It's in the chapel on both lunches. New members are always welcome. 

Attention gr 12 SHSM students. 45 of you are scheduled for your mandatory First AID and CPR training on Mon. Dec. 18- Tues. Dec. 19th. The list is posted on the student services office window. If you are scheduled for this session, make sure your signed permission form is handed in to Ms. Coene by Wed. Dec. 13th. Check your school email for more info from Ms. Coene. If your name is not on the list, your First Aid training will be in the New Year. 

Attention Hockey Fans and Christmas Shoppers!  Are you interested in winning two tickets to see the Brantford Bulldogs take on the Barrie Colts over the Christmas holidays?  A raffle, in support of our Pennies From Heaven campaign, is taking place the week and you have the chance to win a pair of hockey tickets valued at $75!  To enter the draw, you can purchase raffle tickets in the cafeteria during both lunches until Thursday morning.  Tickets are 1 for $2 or 3 for $5.  Cash only please.  If you are not able to buy them on your lunch, please see Mrs. Perkins in Room 2006 to purchase your tickets.  Good luck and thank you for supporting this worthy cause!

Attention Graduating students.  A reminder to explore the Scholarship Suggestion Chart as well as the individual college and university websites that you have applied to for scholarship opportunities.  Please look at the criteria on D2L and sign up in Student Services by December 15th if you meet the criteria and you are interested in being considered as the Assumption College nominee(s) for The Western National Scholarship and The Schulich Leadership in STEM Scholarship.

Thank-you to the hundreds of students who have applied to receive Prefect Homework Help and Mentorship this semester and to our wonderful staff for your ongoing support and a HUGE thank-you to our ACS Prefects as they continue to serve the needs of so many as servant leaders.  Lions, FRIDAY. Dec 15 is the LAST DAY for YOU to pick-up and drop-off an application in STUDENT SERVICES to receive Prefect help during semester 1.  Don’t wait too long as applications are limited.  On behalf of the ACS Prefect Program, we wish you a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the New Year!

Christmas Holidays are fast approaching, and Student Council has exciting plans for the last day before the break. Shortened classes in the morning, a turkey dinner lunch, and our Spirit of Christmas Assembly in the afternoon. There is plenty of fun to be had by all! The turkey dinner lunch costs only $5, but must be purchased in advance on school cash online. Vegetarian and Halal options are available.
