Good morning Lions and welcome to Christmas Character and Red and Green Day! Today, show your spirit by dressing in Red or Green attire. Tomorrow is Pin the Nose on Rudolph in the cafeteria. Come on out for your chance to win.

Yearbooks will be for sale at the back of the cafeteria during lunches every day this week! CASH ONLY! All books will be for sale for $30 each. The 2022-2023 Yearbook and other past yearbooks will be available. 

Today is the day! If you are interested in the French Club, the first meeting of the year will be during second lunch TODAY in Room 2005. 

Dear ACS Knit Club.  Our meeting will be held TODAY from 3-4pm in Portable 17. We are ready to deliver the scarfs to our local shelter and make a delivery to our nurse at McMaster for the babies.  If anyone in the school has an idea for our next crochet project email Mrs. Cameron. 

Mr. Page would like to remind all STEM members to check their emails to get the latest information about upcoming STEM events.  Also please be aware that we have a STEM presentation this Thursday during both lunches. Former Lion Dr. Genhee So, a radiologist, will be visiting, telling her story and discussing her role at the both MacMaster and St. Joseph's hospital.

Attention all grade 12 students- your 40 hours of community service are due in guidance by Thursday Dec 21st! There are still over 200 students who have not handed them in...Don't miss out on this important graduation requirement!!

Attention musicians!  Are you looking for a chance to practice and perform with other talented students your age?  The ACS Junior Band will begin in the New Year.  We are looking for dedicated students who are willing to commit to practicing and attending weekly rehearsals.  A brief information meeting will be held this Wednesday, December 20th at 3pm in the music room to discuss the 2 performances scheduled so far in 2024, as well as what music we will be playing.  Please email Mr. G. if you have any questions.

Post Christmas Karaoke!  The Annual Jack Chapter Christmas Karaoke will take place AFTER Christmas break this year on Friday January 12th from 6-9 PM. Tickets are $5 which include 2 slices of pizza. Tickets will be sold this Tuesday to Thursday this week and on Monday January 8th until Friday January 12th at both lunches! Come out and have fun in the New Year! 

A new shipment of spirit wear has arrived! We now have up to order number 757. Please pick up your orders on your lunch in the Student Council Office.

The Dream It, Be it Advisory Steering Committee is recruiting Female School Ambassadors.  DREAM IT, BE IT is an empowering secondary school FREE career, trade, and life skills event. Girls from grades 9 - 12 are eligible to apply for these volunteer positions.  Participants can earn community service hours while learning about creating goals and overcoming obstacles.  Interested in learning more? Please see Ms. Chagnon in Student Services. 

Today’s special in the cafeteria will be Pulled Pork on a Bun topped with your choice of onions or mozzarella cheese and a side of fries for $6.00.  Donuts and cinnamon buns are available today.  Have an awesome day Lions.
