Attention Students! If you need a semester two schedule change you can sign-up for an appointment. The last day to sign-up for schedule changes is Fri. Feb. 9th.  Remember, schedule changes can only be made if you need to change levels or an elective.

The ACS Jack Chapter will meeting on Friday, after school at 3:05 in the lecture hall. The ACS Jack Chapter is a mental health  awareness team, that fosters growth in positive mental health and helps in eliminating stigma. We are welcoming new members from all Grades for the remainder of February. It is truly a fun group to be a part of during your high school career! If you have any questions, please contact the Dabrowski sisters. Have a mentally healthy day! 

There will be no tryout today after school for senior badminton. 

To any student interested in competing in the Canadian Computing Competition. Please see Mr. Petrella for a brief moment at the beginning of either Junior or Senior lunch to confirm your spot and find out more details about the contest. Please stop by TODAY even if you have confirmed already.

A reminder to all gr. 12 students participating in the DELF exam:  Registration is due tomorrow - Friday, February 9 by 3pm.  There are 2 steps to this process:
#1 - Submit your form to Madame McCulloch
#2 - Register online via the link provided in the information letter.  See Madame if you have any questions!

Just a friendly reminder that the Latino Club will be meeting this Friday, February 9th at 8:15am in Room 1034.  We will be discussing the Portuguese language and the Carnival celebration in Brazil.

Valentines Day is around the corner lions! Are you looking for a little something to give your special someone? How about some beautiful carnations? Student council will be selling carnations for $2.50 each at the back of the cafeteria all week. Flowers will be delivered to period 4 classes on Tuesday, February 13th. Just in time for Valentines Day!

Valedictorian essays and applications are due to Mr. Cacilhas, in the Main Office, before 3pm , this Friday February 9th.  Also, the electronic copy of the essay is due to Mrs. Fergus via her email, at that time as well. All necessary info is in the Grad Package from the November meetings and is also on the Grade 12 D2L page. 

Attention Graduates! If you need to retake your graduation photos, Edge Imaging will be here February 13th and 14th! Please book your appointment time by going to the bookmygrad.ca website. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Mastromatteo (Czaplinska).

The Young Authors' Writing Contest deadline is end of day on Monday February 12th. See any English teacher for the particulars on format, expectations, and submissions. 

A special contest for all students is happening right now in the Library. It's called Blind Date With A Book! For the next 2 weeks come to the Library and unwrap a book and create a Poem using the book you selected. The best poem will win an Amazon gift certificate. Rush to the library today before all the Blind Date Books are gone. LEAP members who enter the contest will receive a LEAP point. Contest closes Monday, February 19th.

Today’s special in the cafeteria will be sweet and spicy chicken balls on basmati rice with oriental veggies for $6.25.  Add a jet juice for $1.05 or a water for 75 cents.  Have an awesome day Lions!
