Attention Prom Committee. The meeting originally scheduled for today is being moved to Monday, March 25th. It will take place during second lunch in room 1003. Looking forward to seeing you on Monday! 

There will be a Jack Chapter meeting today at 3:05 in the lecture hall.  Please contact one of the Dabrowski sisters if you cannot attend.  Have a mentally healthy day and weekend. 

Today, we welcome back ACS Alumni Kyle Christie to the Den with his colleague Cherie Bowker.  They will be in the Lecture Hall Period 1 and 2 today showcasing the dynamic Creative Industries Program at Conestoga College.   Welcome Back Kyle and thank you for sharing your expertise with us.

There will be another Senior Boys Soccer tryout TODAY from 3pm to 4:30pm.  Junior tryouts will begin next week so listen for an announcement. 

Lions, did you sign up to perform for the Asian Heritage Month celebration? Our first practice will be Monday after school on the stage for all performers and new members are welcome. All the Southeast East performers will be meeting Monday after school in the library.  Please check your email for more information.

The Varsity Girls' Soccer Team will have their final tryouts on Tuesday and Thursday next week after school. All those on the callback list posted outside the female PE office are welcome. Please come prepared with clothing and footwear for both indoor and outdoor.  

Attention Lions.  If you wish to participate in Assumption Cares but have not handed in your registration form, it’s not too late.  See Mr. O’Brien in Room 3011 before school any day this week to get a pledge form.  The pledges will be collected the week after Easter.  Remember:  If you don’t have a pledge form, you aren’t registered yet.  Don’t miss out on April 11th and 12th, get registered this week.

Some exciting news from STEM.  Registration for the 2024 Vision Conference starts Friday morning. A QR Code taking you to the conference's website will be posted around the school: STEM display board outside of Student Services, Science display board outside of Room 2064, white board outside of Room 3005. Only 900 spots available to every high school student in Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties. You will also need a permission form (Room 3005) and to pay $20 at cash online.  This event will take place on Wednesday, May 1st at the Sanderson Center and Brantford Laurier Campus. 

There will be a STEM presentation on Thursday March 28th on Cybersecurity, both lunches in the Lecture Hall. Dismissal times are 11:20am & 12:40pm.

Today’s special in the cafeteria will be a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup for $6.25 or just a grilled cheese sandwich for $4.75.  French onion soup will also be served for $3.85 topped with mozzarella and croutons.  There will be no meat served today in the cafeteria.  Have an awesome day Lions!
