A reminder for all Lions participating in Assumption Cares.  This is bank week.  Please hand in your money in the cafeteria at both lunches today.

The Jack Chapter will be meeting today at 3:05pm in the Lecture Hall to discuss some very important items! Please contact one of the Dabrowski sister's if you cannot attend.

A new order of Spirit Wear has arrived. We now have orders up to 827. Please come by the Student Council Office on your lunch to pick up your order.

Attention all Indigenous students, on April 11th @9:43 there will be a Haudenosaunee Social in front of the Cafe.  You must sign up in Ms. Lori's office. 100 percent participation is expected.  Deadline sign up is April 9th by 3:00pm.

SHSM Customer Service training will take place for all registered SHSM students on Friday, April 5th. The schedule is:
8:50 - 11:30 am - Grade 12 SHSM and ALL Health Care SHSM students, in the Lecture Hall.
12:25-2:55 pm - Grade 11 SHSM students excluding health care, in the Lecture Hall

Attention Business SHSM Students:   Permission forms for the upcoming April 11th trip to Brantford Laurier can be picked up in Room 2006 or 2010 from Mrs. Perkins.  Forms must be returned signed by Friday, April 5th to secure your spot on this trip.  Please check your email for additional details.

Attention all Health and Wellness SHSM students, there is a Forensic Pathology Presentation on Friday Apr 5 in lecture hall during 4th period.  Attending presentations is part of completing the requirements for your SHSM designation. Please inform your period 4 teacher before coming to presentation.

The Varsity Girls soccer team will be practicing on Tuesday and Thursday next week from 3:00- 4:30. Please come prepared for both indoor and/or outdoor. 

The Jr. and Sr. Badminton teams will be practicing on Tuesday morning next week. AABHN tournaments are next week: Juniors play at ACS on Wednesday and Seniors at SJC on Thursday. Please make sure to check in with coaches Prior, Dyjack and Cassano to confirm details. 

Attention Vocal Ensemble: please turn your forms in to attend the rehearsal at the Sanderson Center on Tuesday, April 9th. A reminder that we are leaving from the music room entrance by the field at 12:20. If you cannot attend the performance on Tuesday, April 30th at 7pm, then you need not attend the rehearsal. See Mrs. Ratelband for more information.

Attention students going to see "Les Mis" on Wednesday, April 10th, please make sure to board the bus early as we leave no later than 8:30 am. If your bus arrives after that time then you must find an alternative way to arrive to the school. Those who are traveling from Caledonia please try and carpool together. Message Mrs. Ratelband if you have an issue arriving to the school early.

Students interested in participating in the Mock DECA challenge are asked to see Mrs. Perkins in Room 2006 after school any day this week.  You can register as an individual, with a partner, or a group of 3.  You can also select your area of interest from topics like Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing.  We will take registrations until this Friday.  The Mock DECA competition will take place at the end of May.  Please email Mrs. Perkins or see her in Room 2006 with any questions.

Coffee House is back Lions! Join us on April 17th for an evening of musical performances, snacks, and fun times for all. If you are interested in performing at this event, please email a short video showcasing your act to Ms Ristov no later than 4:00pm on Friday, April 5th.

Do you like to run and run and run? Can you throw and catch a frisbee? Did I mention run? If you said yes, then come try out for the ultimate frisbee team. This year we are going varsity.  The first tryout for gr 9-10s will be on Tuesday and for 11-12s will be on Wednesday. Sign up and pick up a permission form outside the Phys Ed offices. 

Attention graduates! Any students who missed photos or those who would like a retake, there is a pop-up studio scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at St. Mark’s Church on Memorial Dr. in Brantford.  Appointments can be booked at:  www.bookmygrad.ca. Attention Grade 12 students. This is a reminder that the deadline for online payment for the grad retreat is May 6th, just a month away. Enjoy a day outdoors near the lake at beautiful Camp Marydale in Mount Hope. A barbeque lunch is included and transportation. The cost is only $25. Also pick up a grad retreat permission form available in a folder outside of the Chaplain's office. 

Today’s special in the cafeteria will be BBQ pulled pork on a bun topped with onions, mozzarella, and a side of fries for $6.25.  Add a small water for 75 cents or a jet juice for $1.05.  Today’s soup is homemade French Onion soup with croutons and mozzarella for $3.85.  Have an awesome day Lions!
