1.   Attention all grade 9s. Colour Night is THIS THURSDAY! Don't miss out on this fun evening of  games, pizza, and a dance. Tickets for this event are $7, and can be purchased on school cash online until Tuesday, September 10th at 3pm. Wristbands will be distributed to homerooms on Wednesday, but if you purchased your ticket last week you can find out your team early on the list posted on the main office windows. Ticket sales end soon so make sure to buy yours ASAP!

2.   Attention all grade 12s who signed up to volunteer at Colour Night. There will be a brief but mandatory meeting in TLC at the start of senior lunch today (Tuesday). If you cannot attend, see Ms Ristov asap

3.   Attention all actors! ATV is hosting auditions for recurring acting roles for this year's promos and videos. Auditions will be held this Tuesday, September 10th in room 1141, right after school. Please prepare a short scene or skit to perform. Break a leg!

4.   OPA! Were you hoping to travel to Greece over the March Break with the art department? Well, you are in luck - we still have a handful of spots remaining! See Ms. Benoit in room 2015 for an information package and enroll today! The last few spots are first come, first serve, so don't wait long to sign up or you may be disappointed. Also, attention to all those already enrolled in the trip, don't forget to bring your signed permission forms to Ms. Benoit ASAP.

5.   Tryouts for Jr Boys Volleyball will be held today after school in the gym. Please check the new list posted outside the female phys Ed office to see if you should attend the next round. If you are unable to attend, please let Ms.Moniz know.

6.   Cross country training continues this week with practices running Monday through Thursday. Runners will meet at the picnic tables by the portables. Please ensure that you give your signed permission form to Mrs. Czaplinska-Mastromatteo or Ms. Gomez a.k.a the organized coaches. If you are interested in joining the team, please scan the QR code and pick up a permission form by the physed offices

7.   Do you like to sing? Have you been secretly humming songs between classes? Is music a big part of your life? If you answered 'yes' to even ONE of those questions, then Vocal Ensemble is for YOU! We meet in the music room, #1154, for one hour, starting Tuesday, September 17th from 3pm until 4pm. ALL grades are welcome! See Mrs. Ratelband for more information!

8.   Attention all girls interested in trying out for the field hockey team.  The field hockey tryout dates have changed slightly. Tryouts will be  Tues and Thursday this week. Please sign up outside the phys. Ed office and pick up a permission form. Mouth guards and soccer shin pads are mandatory for tryouts and cleats are encouraged. For more information, come to the female phys. Ed office. 

9.   Tennis tryouts for Juniors will continue Wednesday afterschool. Tryouts for Seniors will be held on Tuesday and Thursday next week. All tryouts will be from 3:00 until 4:30pm. Permission forms can be picked up from Mrs. O’Brien in Room 3004 any day this week

10.   Do you like to crochet or knit? Do you wish to make a difference and get to know new lions? Come join the ACS Knit club run by Mrs. Cameron starting in October. 11.  Attention Student Drivers:  If you park in our school lot, please come to the Main Office to register your vehicle and receive your parking pass.  Once you have received your parking pass, please display it prominently in your vehicle.  You have until September 30th to register. 

12.   All lockers are to be secured with a school lock.   Please ensure you are in the correct locker and it has a school lock to avoid your items being removed

13.   Cafeteria Special         -   Today's special in the servery is a fan favourite Tex Mex Fries loaded with taco beef, cheese sauce, salsa, sour cream and green onions for $7.75.     Or nachos and cheese for $4.99.
