1. There will be an IMPORTANT YEARBOOK CLUB meeting today after school in room 2028. This meeting is for PAST Yearbook Club members ONLY. New club members will be welcomed at future meetings starting in November. Keep listening to morning announcements for upcoming meeting.
2. To all CWAYC debate club members, old and new, this week's debate will take place Thursday after school. The location has changed. Please meet in room 1013 instead of the lecture hall. Please email Mrs. Flanagan if you have any questions.
3. There will be a meeting held today during senior lunch in Room 2006 with Mr. Virdo for ALL currently registered BUSINESS FOCUS SHSM STUDENTS as well as ALL STUDENTS IN THE DECA CLUB. Feel free to bring your lunch.
4. Attention Vocal Ensemble! We are meeting in the LECTURE HALL tonight from 3-4pm. The lecture hall is located on the 2nd floor closest to the chapel. It's not too late if you still want to join! See you tonight!
5. Attention Environment Club Members. Our first meeting will be Wednesday September 25th in Room 3024 at 3pm. We will discuss plans for the school year, then head outside to the Community Gardens at Edith Monture Park. New members always welcome - just email Mrs. Walsh or come to 3024 at the end of the day!
6. Attention grade 11 and 12 students. Are you interested in signing up for a Specialist High Skills Major program? Please come to the lecture hall on your lunch for a mandatory SHSM information meeting on Wednesday, Sept 25th. Please talk to Ms. Martello for more information.
7. This week is Truth & Reconciliation Week in preparation for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Day along with Orange Shirt Day on Monday September 30th. Orange shirts will be for sale during all 3 lunches today and Thursday. Limited number of shirts for $10.00 each.
8. Are you passionate about spreading positivity and making a real difference in our school community? Join the ACS Jack Chapter! We're a dedicated team focused on promoting mental health awareness and fostering well-being for both staff and students. Throughout the year, we take part in various initiatives at both the school and national levels. We're looking for enthusiastic students from all grades to join our mission. Meetings are held every Friday after school in the lecture hall, with our first meeting kicking off this Friday at 3:05 PM! For more information, feel free to contact the Dabrowski sisters. 9. Were you hoping to go to Greece with the art department over the March Break? Well, what are you waiting for? THERE ARE ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT! And when they are filled, anyone signing up will be automatically placed on the waitlist. Please see Ms. Benoit in room 2015 for more information. Those that have already enrolled in the Greece trip, make sure you bring in your signed forms ASAP and if you need to apply for a passport, that you are starting that process now
Cafeteria Special: Today's special in the servery will be Chicken Quesadilla filled with diced chicken, salsa, Sliced peppers and mozzarella cheese with a side of sour cream for $6.50. Cinnamon buns available this morning for $3.15.
