1.   STEM club members our First guest speaker Dr. Modi will be here today in the lecture hall at 1:00. Grade 9 and 10 students bring your STEM slips with you to the talk. 

2.   All students who are involved in Amplify Your culture, please check your email. This is imperative that you do this often! Thank you. Our next meeting is Friday the 25th on all lunches in the lecture hall! 

3.   Attention all grade 10, 11 and Extended French students!  The sign-up has started for the Quebec City trip.  Please see either Mme. Danielle or Mme. Rodger for permission forms and visit the D2L page to find the sign-up link.  Looking forward to seeing you in Quebec with Bonhomme! 

4.   Reminder: Applications for the School Council Volunteerism Award are available now in the Main Office.  The deadline to apply is Monday, October 28 at 3:00 pm. 

5.   Senior sunrise has been rescheduled for this Friday! All grade 12's and grade 13's are welcome. $3 entrance and you get a hot chocolate! See you at the back field, behind the portables, at 7am on Friday! All proceeds will go to Pennies From Heaven!  

6.   Thank you to all those who accepted our challenge of catching the Spirit of Halloween using your words, words, words!  LEAP will be reviewing all submissions, and the top three entries will be announced over ATV on Halloween 

7.   Do you have a musical talent that you want to showcase at this year’s fall coffee house? Any students interested in participating are asked to email a short video of their performance to Ms Ristov no later than November 1st. This event will take place the evening of November 14th. Looking forward to seeing your acts!  

8.   The Murder Mystery Dinner Theater on Thursday, November 7th.  A gr. 11 drama class production and the foods classes are catering the event too (Penne and meatballs, salad, focaccia bread, apple crumble and coffe/tea).  You get to be a detective and try to solve the Mystery of who committed the Murder.   Tickets are $20 and sales start Tuesday, Oct. 22nd at the back of the caf during ALL 3 lunches! Cash only please! But hurry – tickets will sell out fast! 

9.   Today's special in the servery will be cheese tortellini topped with rose sauce and a side of garlic toast for $5.50.   Please remember to get your cutlery for your lunch from where you got it, please and thank you.
