1. Tonight A.C.S. hosts our annual Academic Awards Celebration! Award winners, please remember to “Dress your Best” and to check-in at the tables in the Caf between 5:15-5:45 pm. If you have additional questions, please see the Q&A posters outside the Main Office, the Library, and Student Services. We look forward to celebrating with you and your two guests this evening!
2. Lions, have you noticed the Christmas tree on the second floor near the chapel? This beautiful Christmas tree is called the TREE OF HOPE! We set this tree up every year to help with our Pennies from Heaven Campaign. As you can see, the tree is filled with ornaments that have a gift card request written on them. If you feel that you can help one of our school families with one of these generous gift card donations, please remove the tag from the tree, buy the gift card, and return them together to the main office. Every gift card collected will go to the families that we support through our Pennies From Heaven Campaign. Thank you for your support!...and MERRY CHRISTMAS!
3. Hey Hey Homerooms! Listen up! The Pennies from Heaven next classroom collection will happen this FRIDAY. The Social Justice students will be coming around to each class to collect the containers of money every Friday until Dec 6th. Teachers, please excuse the interruption to your class time as we hope this will only take a few minutes. Remember, we will count the money and record it for you!

Your support is appreciated.

SPORTS:
1. On Monday, our boy's varsity hockey team won their first game of the season, defeating BCI 3-1. Justin Floresco had a strong game in net, making a few big saves, while Brady Marr, Talon Harrington and Tristan Schlatman did the scoring. The boys are back at it on Thursday when they play Paris District, and hope to continue their hot start.
2. The senior boys basketball team had a solid start to their season last night dominating McKinnon Park 85-24. Destin and Ryan had a great defensive game. Although Zagham missed his first 3 layups, he still took home 12 points. Emanuel made his 18 points look effortless. This is going to be an exciting season. Come out and support our boys on Thursday at 5:30 against PJ.
Have a great day Lions!
