1. Lions, have you noticed the Christmas tree on the second floor near the chapel? This beautiful Christmas tree is called the TREE OF HOPE! We set this tree up every year to help with our Pennies from Heaven Campaign. As you can see, the tree is filled with ornaments that have a gift card request written on them. If you feel that you can help one of our school families with one of these generous gift card donations, please remove the tag from the tree, buy the gift card, and return them together to the main office. Every gift card collected will go to the families that we support through our Pennies From Heaven Campaign. Thank you for your support!...and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

3. Graduates: You’ve had your meeting. You have your information booklet. Now you have to do 2 things. #1 Register to graduate using the link on the Grade 12 D2L page. and #2: Pay to participate using School Cash On-Line. Deadline is December 6th. That’s only 6 school days away
4. Ticket sales are now available for this year’s Nutcracker semi-formal! The event will take place Friday, December 6th from 7-10pm. Tickets for ACS students can be purchased for $15 on school cash online, and guest tickets can be purchased at the back of the caf on all 3 lunches. Don’t forget your signed guest forms! This event is popular and likely to sell out fast. Be sure to get your tickets early so you aren’t disappointed.
5. Attention Jack Chapter members who signed up for the Bill of Rights Focus Groups this Friday. Please ensure to be in the lecture hall by 3:10 at the absolute latest! We need to ensure we have enough time to complete the Focus Groups. Just a reminder that ONLY THOSE who signed up for the Focus Groups are to attend the meeting, tomorrow!

6. CHECKMATE! Are you looking to extend your critical thinking skills, learn a new game and/or meet new people? The Chess Club is BACK! We will be meeting on Wednesdays after school from 3pm-4pm in Room 2023 starting December 4th. If you want to use the Queen’s Gambit, set up the Sicilian or French defense, or you just want to know how to set up the board and what the horsey and castle are called, we welcome and accept all levels of play as we learn and grow together. Please see Mr. DaCosta if you cannot attend.
7. Today's special in the servery is cheddar and potato perogies with caramelized onions with fries and a side of sour cream for $6.50. Donuts available for first break.
