1. Attention Class of 2025. Several Grad Award and Scholarship applications are now available including the Linda Lancaster Pay It Forward Award, The Kent Dixon Service Award, The Mark G Dixon Award, and the McMillen Scholarship. See Brightspace for details.
2. Are you looking for a fun, relaxing night filled with music, delicious treats, and good company? If so, then coffee house is the place to be! Come on out Thursday April 10th at 6pm for a night packed with entertainment. Tickets are for sale on school cash online for $8. See you there!
3. Attention all students enrolled in cooperative education next year. There is a mandatory meeting today in the lecture hall immediately after today’s announcements. To ensure you will be properly placed, make sure you do not miss this meeting.
4. If you missed this morning’s Book club meeting, there will be another one after school today in the library’s Innovation lab. Hope to see you there.
5. Hey Lions: Don’t forget about our LEAP guest speaker on Wednesday during senior lunch in the lecture hall. Grade 9 and 10 students must sign up, before end of day on Tuesday, for an exit slip. The list is outside of room 1009.
6. There will be a mandatory Senior Co-Ed Volleyball Team meeting during Senior Lunch, today, in Room 1018. Please bring your signed permission forms if you have not already done so.
7. Attention semester 2, geography students! You are invited to participate in our geography trip to Niagara Falls on Tuesday, May 6th! Please remember that there are only 45 spots available on the bus, so bring your forms to Mrs. Walsh in room 3024 during your lunch ASAP! Thank you, Mrs. Mastromatteo & Mrs. Walsh!
8. Congratulations to all of the Mock Trial teams that participated in Friday’s tournament. All of the teams did an excellent job. A special shout out to Emily Wu, Ava Austin, Electra-Jane Hill, Mo-mor-eh Dada and Brooke Caruna for noteworthy performances.
9. Attention: STEM students who have registered for the McMaster Road Trip. Online registration DOES NOT guarantee your spot. You must submit signed forms and make online payment. Please submit forms A-SA-P so you are not disappointed!
10. Any student interested in joining our 16th Annual Earth Day Tree Planting, on the afternoon of Tuesday April 22nd, is welcome to pick up a permission form from the QUAKE board beside student services. Return the signed form to Mrs. Walsh in Room 3024 on your lunch! First come first serve until the bus is full!
11. Today's special in the servery will be Cheese and potato perogies with fries and sauted onions with a side of sour cream for $6.50. Perogies on their own $5.50.
