Looking for Directors and Writers
Do you want to be a Director?
Do you have ideas for a play?
The National Theatre School has taken over the "SEARS" Drama Festival and are looking for new plays written and directed by STUDENTS.
If you would like to Direct or have a play you have written, or a play in mind, present your ideas at the NTS Drama Festival interviews held Thursday, June 13th after school.

Prefect and EQAO Final Exam Prep
ACS is blessed to be offering FREE Final Exam and EQAO Preparations from
Mon. June 3 to Thurs. June 6 between 3-4pm in the school’s library (Think Tank).
ACS Prefects and staff are ready to serve by offering free tutoring and
exam preparations, including study tips and strategies, for all students.
Computers and printers are available. This is a great opportunity for
students who may have incomplete course culminating activities
and/or summative assignments to complete them. Please encourage
your son or daughter to attend. This is a limited time offer.

Spring Concert
Feel like there's a spring in your step, or better yet - feel like you can face the music?
Well, you can!
The music spring concert is just for you!
Come enjoy an evening of music complete with all different styles and abilities.
The best thing is that it's FREE!
The concert starts at 7p.m. with doors opening by 6:30.
You won't want to miss it!
Girl Talk
Person 1: Hey, spill the tea.
Person 2: I can't, it's too complicated.
Person 1: ah come on you can tell me! This is all everyone's been talking about! You gotta fill me in on the details!
Person 2: ok, Emily is getting married and it's not right! The guy she's marrying is a pig, her so called friends talk about her to EVERYONE behind her back, AND all she seems to care about is how she looks.
Person 1:. Woah! I want to go to this wedding - sounds like a lot of drama!
Person 2:. Well, in fact, the gr.12 drama class IS presenting it -a play called "Girl Talk" - THIS FRIDAY, May 17th at 7p.m. Tickets are only $5.
Person 1:. Where can I get tickets?
Person 2: at the back of the caf during both lunches or at the door by 6:30 the night of the show!
BOTH: So get your ticket today!
Festival at Wonderland
Music members that are competing in the festival at Wonderland are asked to purchase your t-shirts for $10 by tomorrow morning!

Hairspray at the Sanderson Centre
Attention all those involved in "Hairspray" at the Sanderson Centre.
Just a reminder to meet at the Sanderson by 5:30 through the stage doors at the Darling Street entrance.
Be in costume and have your hair and make-up fully done.
Do NOT bring your valuables.
Plan to have an exact pick-up location at the end of the night.
Memorize your lyrics to BOTH songs - "You Cant Stop the Beat" and "Heart's Desire".
