Listen up students who are participating in the French presentation TODAY...Are we ready for Njacko Backo?  After attendance is taken in your homeroom, please proceed quickly to the cafeteria for this exciting presentation! 

Attention Academic Award Winners! This is your second-to-last reminder that our awards celebration is this Wednesday evening.  Please ensure that you and your guests review the invitation letter that was mailed out to you for important details about the evening’s schedule, important locations, and more!  The entire Faculty looks forward to celebrating with you on Wednesday evening! 

Attention all girls trying out for the Girls Ice Hockey team. The next two tryouts are TODAY and Thursday this week at 3pm at Lions Park. Your dismissal time is 2:15pm.  Please sign up with Ms. McDade if you have not done so yet.

Attention ACS Knitting Club!  This Wednesday we are meeting both at junior lunch and after school from 3pm-4pm in Portable 17.  Let Ms. Cameron know if you can't make it.

The Jack Chapter will have a very important meeting this week on THURSDAY at 3:05pm in the Lecture Hall. Please note the change of day due to the PD Day this week. If you cannot attend please let Miss Dabrowski know as soon as possible. Thank you so much and have a mentally healthy day!

Senior girls volleyball tryouts will be held in the main gym starting Tuesday, November the 15th. We will begin at 7:00am and end at 8:20am. Sign up and get a consent form in front of the girls Phys-Ed office.  If you have any questions please contact Mr Bender.

The 180 Team will be meeting on Thursday on both lunches in the Chapel.  For the students on the 180 Team who are going to the St. Vincent de Paul store tomorrow morning with Mrs. Sheldrake to help out - you are to meet at the school bell at 8:50am at the back of the school where the buses come in beside the guidance office.

Attention, Cadets!  This is a reminder that you are invited on to proudly wear your military uniforms this Thursday for the school’s Remembrance Day celebration.   Please sign up on the posted list outside of the Main Office so we know you wish to participate.

A Remembrance Day Tribute Wall has been created at the back of the cafeteria to honour current veterans and remember past veterans.  Students and staff are welcome to add the names of veterans they would like to thank.  There is space set aside on the large white maple leaves with the words thank you.  You need to bring your own pen or marker with you.  Please be respectful of this tribute and use it as an opportunity to express your gratitude to those who serve and have served.

Attention all participants in this year's We Scare Hunger.  If you want your team’s pictures to be included in Promo’s, or in this year's Yearbook, we need you to send them in.  Each group was given an email address to send those pictures in, please do so this week, so we can get them submitted to yearbook

Coffee House is back Lions! Need an excuse to hang out with friends, eat snacks, and enjoy some great live entertainment? Coffee House is the place to be! Come on out on November 16th and see all the musical talent our school has to offer. Tickets can be purchased on school cash online starting Monday November 7th for $8. The price will increase to $10 at the door and seating is limited so make sure to get your tickets early! Coffee House performers, please check your school emails for a very important message. We need your replies ASAP!

The program's primary focus is to have fun while learning about and promoting messages on healthy living and tobacco and substance prevention. Students can gain volunteer hours and receive a letter of reference after the program.  Please see Ms. Coene in Student Services for more information.

Attention ACS!  High school students are wanted to help make a difference in your future.  The campaign “I matter, you matter, we matter” is underway.  This campaign is geared towards changing negativity to positivity by using inspirational sayings on buttons and magnets.  Please see the poster on the Volunteer Board outside of Student Services for more information.

We will debrief and make sure everyone is on track for the big day and answer any further questions that you have. Also, this will be the absolute last day to sign-up for the event, so it is imperative that you be there.

The winner of the raffle prize receives manga posters, stickers, activity books, and manga boxes. The winner is............Matthew Wilson! Congratulations Matthew! Buying all those tickets paid off. You can come down to the library at lunch for your prize.

Anyone interested in helping behind the scenes for the National Theatre School Drama Festival, please submit your paragraph reason to Mrs. Ratelband by 3p.m. TODAY, Thursday, October 27th.  The list will be posted by November 1st as to who is selected for this year's stage crew, props and painting.

All entries for the "Thank a Vet" speech writing competition are due TODAY.  Prizes will be awarded for the top three entries.
