A reminder for all Lions participating in Assumption Cares. This is bank week. Please hand in your money in the cafeteria at both lunches today.
Attention all those going on the trip to see "Les Miserables" - there is a MANDATORY meeting on Thursday, April 4th at the start of 2nd lunch at 12:55pm in the Drama Room. Teachers, please excuse the students for 10-15 min. Please message Mrs. Ratelband if you CANNOT attend as there are new updates and important information to be relayed.
Do you like to run and run and run? Can you throw and catch a frisbee? Did I mention run? If you said yes, then come try out for the ultimate frisbee team. This year we are going varsity. The first tryout for gr 9-10s will be on Tuesday and for 11-12s will be on Wednesday. Sign up and pick up a permission form outside the Phys Ed offices.
Attention Business SHSM Students: Permission forms for the upcoming April 11th trip to Brantford Laurier can be picked up in Room 2006 or 2010 from Mrs. Perkins. Forms must be returned signed by Friday, April 5th to secure your spot on this trip. Please check your email for additional details.

Students interested in participating in the Mock DECA challenge are asked to see Mrs. Perkins in Room 2006 after school any day this week. You can register as an individual, with a partner, or a group of 3. You can also select your area of interest from topics like Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Marketing. We will take registrations until this Friday. The Mock DECA competition will take place at the end of May. Please email Mrs. Perkins or see her in Room 2006 with any questions.

Tickets are only $5 and will cover the cost of pizza and a juice box. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Don't miss out on this fun night.

Enjoy a day outdoors near the lake at beautiful Camp Marydale in Mount Hope. A barbeque lunch is included and transportation. The cost is only $25. Also pick up a grad retreat permission form available in a folder outside of the Chaplain's office.
Attention Class of 2024! Each High School in Brant County is eligible to nominate 2 students for the James Hillier Scholarship. If you are a Student who has been accepted to a University or College program in Science and Technology and have achieved over 90% average on your top 6 University or Mixed level courses, including at least 2 sciences, have been a resident of Brantford or Brant County for your final 3 years of high school, are interested in scientific research, and would like to be interviewed and considered for the Hillier Scholarship, please sign up in Student Services. This is the first step of the nomination process. Sign-up by Tuesday April 9th.

Ms. Torto’s social justice class is challenging ACS to collect books for St. Vincent De Paul! St. Vincent De Paul is running a program called Beds for Kids and as an additional gift they provide a bag of books to each child to encourage reading! So, we want everyone to bring gently used or new books to school and drop them off in the library! Books for all ages are accepted! For every book you donate, you can fill out a ballot for a chance to win a $25 amazon gift card! So, bring in your books and make a difference!

That evening at the Sanderson Center at 7:00pm, the Hillier foundation is hosting Jane Goodall, an English primatologist and anthropologist. She is considered the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, after 60 years' studying the social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees. Mr. Page has 85 tickets available to STEM students.

A QR Code taking you to the conference's website will be posted around the school: STEM display board outside of Student Services, Science display board outside of Room 2064, white board outside of Room 3005. Only 900 spots available to every high school student in Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk counties. You will also need a permission form (Room 3005) and to pay $20 at cash online. This event will take place on Wednesday, May 1st at the Sanderson Center and Brantford Laurier Campus.

All are welcome to join the Environment Club today, Wednesday March 20th at 12:20pm during Period 3B/C, in the Lecture Hall, for a Guest Speaker from Brantford's Green Team to learn about waste diversion in Brantford, and volunteer opportunities. Pick up a permission form on the QUAKE board beside Student Services to join!
The GSA is meeting today. The first lunch meeting will be in Room 1007 and the second lunch meeting will be in Portable 15.
Senior Badminton players need to let Mr. Dyjack know if they need a cab for tomorrow's game at SJC by the end of the day today.
