Good morning Lions and welcome to the last day of school for 2023! We are looking forward to an awesome day with a community lunch and Christmas assembly.

It's PJ Day, Lions! Hope you are feeling extra comfy today. Tomorrow is the last day before Christmas Break and Student Council has some exciting plans for the day. Shortened classes in the morning, a common Christmas Lunch, and the Spirit of Christmas Assembly in the afternoon. Looking forward to a great day!
Today marks the final day of the homeroom Christmas card decorating competition. Cards will be picked up during period 1 today. The top 10 cards will be chosen by Student Council members by early afternoon, and pictures will be shared on our Student Council instagram account. Please take a few minutes today or tomorrow morning to vote for your favourite. The top 3 will be announced at tomorrow's Spirit of Christmas Assembly.

The Dream It, Be it Advisory Steering Committee is recruiting Female School Ambassadors. DREAM IT, BE IT is an empowering secondary school FREE career, trade, and life skills event. Girls from grades 9 - 12 are eligible to apply for these volunteer positions. Participants can earn community service hours while learning about creating goals and overcoming obstacles. Interested in learning more? Please see Ms. Chagnon in Student Services.

Good morning Lions and welcome to Day 7 of the 12 Days of Spirit! Do you need something fun to do on your lunch today? Come on up to the Lecture Hall and enjoy a Christmas movie during both lunches. On Monday, Student Council will be offering polaroid pictures in front of the Christmas tree. The cost per print is $1 so make sure to bring some change if you would like to participate.
The Jack Chapter will have a short meeting from 3:05-3:30pm today in Portable 3. It is very important to establish ticket sales. Have a mentally healthy weekend!

December Leap Writing Contest. We have entered the season of Advent. A time for Christians to prepare for the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. It is a time of Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love. Your writing challenge is to create a story (fiction or non-fiction) or poem that celebrates either Hope, Joy, Peace, or Love!
